What a season this has been! First, I spent two months in a cabin reading the stories you sent to me. Ten thousand stories to be exact! They came in from all over the U.S. and twenty different countries around the world. During that time, I grew a beard down to my knees, read your stories, and wrote songs inspired by them. Well, actually, I just did two out of those three. Then, I headed into another cabin that was actually a recording studio to make this record. And now, here we are. The record is about to release on October 5th!
I am so excited to share these new songs with you, as well as the stories behind the songs. This has been a season of change for me, personally. I have had my eyes opened be all of the stories that I read. I feel like each story allowed me an open window to look inside and see each life. To all of those who sent me their stories, I thank you. You are the inspiration behind this record, and I want you to know that your stories are going to be used to encourage many others to tell theirs. This is the Story of Your Life, and it’s a story worth telling… mw
